EGM 17 May
Extraordinary General Meeting of 17 April adjourned to Saturday May 17th 2008. The reason for the meeting is to change the Memorandum and Articles of Association and the By-Laws to update them to take account of the various changes that have been agreed or are being proposed in the MII. One of the papers attached sets out the changes proposed and the reasons for them. Council believe that the changes are in the best interests of the MII both for now and going into the future. The reason for holding the EGM at this time is to have the new Memo and Articles in place to brief President McAleese before the May Symposium - particularly the fact that we are the all-island body.
