MII Organisation Members

The Organisation Member cetegory is for organisations that are interested in mediaiton and provides for them to be informed of developments in mediation and to avail of membership rates.

How to Become an Organisation Member

To register as an Organisation Member, simply complete the Organisation Member form (downloadable from the MII Forms page) and return with the appropriate fee to The MII, 35 Fitzwilliam Place, Dublin 2. Organisation Member benefits include:

  • Entitlement to updates and briefings on developments in mediation
  • Entitlement to receive information about symposiums, conferences, CPD trainings and other events
  • For each such event, the Organisation Member is entitled to nominate one person to avail of membership rates (other people from the organisation may attend but will pay full rates)
  • Inclusion as Organisation Member in MII Organisation Member listing
  • Entitlement to an in-house presentation on the uses and benefits of mediation.

Community Mediation Service Providers

Organisations that provide a free community mediation service may register as an Organisation Member under the MII Community Mediation Service scheme and avail of an additional range of benefits.

To register, simply complete the Community Mediation Service Provider Form (downloadable from the MII Forms page) and return with the appropriate fee toThe MII, 35 Fitzwilliam Place, Dublin 2.

Benefits include:

  • Entitlement to updates and briefings on developments in mediation.
  • Entitlement to receive information about MII symposiums, conferences, CPD trainings and other events.
  • For each such event, the Organisation Member is entitled to nominate one person to avail of membership rates (other people from the organisation may attend but will pay full rates).
  • Inclusion as Organisation Member in MII listing.
  • Entitlement to an in-house presentation on the uses and benefits of mediation.
  • Registered volunteer Mediators who work for the organisation will be entitled to attend MII symposiums, conferences, CPD trainings and other MII events at cost price (cost price fee to be set for each event).
  • Volunteer Mediators will be discounted 50% of applicable annual registration fee. The voluntary status of each individual seeking membership will be self-declared in writing when applying and when renewing their annual membership.
  • The details and status of each volunteer Mediator will appear in the Register of Members but not in the ‘Find a Mediator’ listing. If a volunteer Mediator decides to charge for their services and is available for private work, they must inform the MII and the normal membership rates and conditions will apply.
  • Inclusion in the Organisation Member listing on the MII website.

Note:

  • Organisation Members are not entitled to vote
