Community Mediation Service Provider

 

Mediators who work solely on a volunteer basis with a registered MII Communtiy Mediation Service are entitled to apply for Community Mediation Service Provider membership.

To register as a Community Mediation Service Provider please complete the online registration process and upload a copy of your MII accredited training certificate, a copy of your Certificate of Assessment (the final page of the Assessors feedback to you), confirmation that you are mediating with an MII Affiliated Community Mediation Service and pay the appropriate fee. If you wish to be certified to mediate with Separating Couples you must upload a copy of your Certificate for completing the 40 hour mandatory knowledge requirement.

  • Community Mediation Service Providers will be discounted 50% of applicable annual registration fee. The voluntary status of each individual seeking membership will be confirmed with the Community Mediation Service.
  • The details and status of each volunteer Mediator will appear in the Register of Members but not in the ‘Find a Mediator’ listing. If a volunteer Mediator decides to charge for their services and is available for private work, they must inform the MII and the normal membership rates, insurance requirements and conditions will apply.
