Mandatory Knowledge Requirement for Mediating with Separating Couples


Training programmes are now being provided for Mediators working in the area of Separating Couples mediation to ensure they are compliant with the new MII requirements which come into effect on 1st January 2013.  The details of the specific areas to be covered in the 32 Hour Knowledge Requirements for Family (Separating Couples) Mediation is shown below.

There will be exemptions for Mediators who can demonstrate that they have already covered the particular areas of training, or a particular section of the training. 

The 32 hours training programme takes place over four days. The next training dates are as follows:

Friday 7 September, Saturday 8 September, Friday 21 September, and Saturday 22 September
