Parent Plus Programmes


Parents Plus have developed a new programme for parents who are preparing for, going through or who have gone through a separation or divorce.

Delivered over six weeks, the course aims to help parents to:

  • Personally cope with the impact of separation on themselves as parents.
  • Solve co-parenting problems in a positive child-centred way.
  • Help their children to cope with the impact of the separation both emotionally and practically.
  • Enhance communication between parents.

Venue and Dates:

The course is being piloted at a number of locations throughout Ireland over the next few months including:

  • Relationships Ireland, Dublin City Centre -  01-6785256: (May 13th 2012)
  • Listowel Family Resource Centre, Co Kerry 068-23584
  • HSE Primary Care Psychology, Longford/Westmeath
  • Mater Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, Dublin

Referral/Further information

If you would like to refer a parent to attend the programme, please contact the above agencies directly. Relationships Ireland are accepting referrals for the course in the next week.
