The Mediator’s Institute of Ireland held its 13th Annual Conference in the Grand Hotel, Malahide, Dublin, on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th November 2011.
The Honorable Mrs Justice Catherine McGuiness, former President of the Law Reform Commisssion, spoke in her keynote presentation about the growing use of mediation in tandem with the legal system and changing legislation in relation to mediation.
The Conference, attended by in excess of 165 delegates, provided a range of informative and challenging workshops delivered by senior members of the judiciary, practising Mediators, trainers and health professionals and covering diverse areas from commercial mediation and how it interfaces with other dispute resolution processes to child protection in mediation.
