Dr Rachel Birnbaum is a Full Professor cross-appointed in Childhood & Social Institutions (Interdisciplinary Studies) & Social Work at King’s University College, Western, London, Ontario.  She has over 25 years of clinical practice experience working with children and families involved in separation and/or divorce. She has presented both nationally and internationally.    

Evidence, Weight & Disclosure of Children's Views  

 Justice Murray has sat in the Family Court of the Ontario Court of Justice in Toronto   since 2005.  She is a member of the Family Law Rules Committee. Justice Murray   co-chaired a joint Ontario Court of Justice/ Superior Court of Justice subcommittee   on long child protection trials. Prior to her appointment, Justice Murray practiced family law in Toronto.  In practice, Justice Murray represented children as a member of the panel of the Office of the Children’s Lawyer, sat as a Dispute Resolution Officer in family law matters at the Superior Court of Justice, and was a member of t h e  F a m i l y  L a w  R u l e s  C o m m i t t e e .   J u s t i c e  M u r r a y  h a s  w r i t t e n  a n d  p r e s e n t e d      extensively on family law issues.
