Alan is a Certified Member of the Mediators' Institute of Ireland and an experienced trainer who has held presiding positions within national and international sporting organisations.
With considerable experience in mediating and facilitation within groups and organisations Alan also holds a Diploma in Mediation and Conflict Intervention from NUI. Having completed a Conflict Coaching delivery model with CINERGY ™ and the Eckerd College Centre for Conflict Dynamics Conflict Dynamics Profiling and feedback model, Alan can also call upon upon these resources where required.
With a practical experience background of 36 years in management, sales and customer relations, Alan is also a training facilitator and a Qualified Financial Advisor with considerable experience within the financial services and insurance sector. In addition to being actively involved within voluntary community groups Alan is also a volunteer mediator with Drogheda Community Services Centre. Alan has trained with the Mediation Foundation of Ireland, Round Table Solutions, Oak Conflict Dynamics and the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for Conflict Intervention in addition to many others, including participating in a European Security and Defense College's Crisis Management Activity Course on Mediation and Dialogue Skills for Common Security and Defense Policy. Alan regularly facilitates mediations throughout the country.
