Eimear is a Mediator, Professional Practice Consultant and Mediation Trainer. She is available to mediate in family disputes including; separation & divorce; parenting; inheritance, land and other intra-family conflicts. Eimear also works within community settings assisting people move past conflict. She offers professional practice consultancy to mediator colleagues and is also available to give general mediation awareness presentations.Eimear is available to work in Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim and Northern Ireland and will consider requests to work in other locations.
Eimear’s background is primarily in family mediation with over ten year’s experience of separation & divorce mediation as practitioner, manager and trainer. She is also a long-time proponent of standards in mediation, in particular working on the MII Code of Ethics & Practice and sitting on the MII Council and the Board of Family Mediation Northern Ireland.Eimear is now developing her practice in community mediation and is currently a participant in the MOST Civic Leadership Project 2009 – 2012 with Mediation Northern Ireland (MNI) working to bring about change through mediation and peace-building.
