    General Profile

    Online/Remote Mediation via Zoom Available

Working as a dispute resolution professional for many years has given me a great deal of experience of different types of conflict, and I am always ready to meet a challenge and work with parties towards reaching a resolution. Mediation is a powerful and effective process, not only does it allow each side to fully air their particular issue, in ensures that each side is in turn properly heard. My job as the neutral mediator is to help the parties work their way through the process towards a peaceful resolution.

I initially qualified as a mediator through the Bar Council of Ireland in 2004, and since then I have completed postgraduate studies in Conflict & Dispute Resolution at Trinity College, Dublin. I am currently also fully accredited with The Mediators' Institute of Ireland. Prior to this I worked as a legal professional from 1995-2012.

Having successfully completed the required additional training, I am qualified to mediate for families and separating couples. This aspect of my mediation practice is greatly enhanced by the previous experience I gained representing many clients in all types of family law cases.

In addition to being a mediator, I am a dispute facilitator, and I can also provide conflict coaching to both individuals and organisations.

I lecture on postgraduate programmes in all aspects of mediation, conflict resolution, and workplace dispute resolution. I also deliver on a variety of programmes dealing with workplace conflict, bullying and harassment, having difficult conversations etc., for Ibec.

I am an active member of The Organisation & Workplace Committee of the Mediators' Institute of Ireland.

Please feel free to contact me in absolute confidence for an informal and no-obligation chat using the contact details provided on this page.
