Frances has worked as an independent mediator for over 15 years helping people in difficult situations in the workplace, within families and between couples. Individuals and employers regularly comment on her empathy, sensitivity and understanding. Through engaging clients in dialogue, Frances enables and empowers them to achieve a solid and lasting outcome. Frances offers mediation face to face, online or via telephone.

Frances is currently HRM Specialist and Director of Mediation Training Programmes with the Institute of Public Administration providing training, consultancy and facilitation services. She has worked in both the public and private service in training and management roles.

Frances has provided mediation services to many organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors. She is one of the first mediators in Ireland to achieve international accreditation having trained with Canadian expert Judy McCann-Beranger. A partner in Later Life Mediation she works with families in a sensitive and confidential way with people around the issues of ageing. She was one of four mediators who mediated between Government agencies and representatives of raised bogs at the Peatlands Forum in 2012 and was lead facilitator at the Housing Summit in Dublin Castle in 2015.
