    General Profile

Geoffrey Corry offers marital separation and divorce mediation for separating couples and partners.
He served as a part-time mediator with the state-run Family Mediation Service for over 20 years from its early development in the 1990’s and then in the court connected scheme in Dolphin House.
He supported a pilot elder mediation scheme at Mediation Northside. Because of his previous management experience, he is called upon to mediate bullying disputes in organisational settings like hospitals, universities, churches and schools.
Geoffrey has trained many mediators over the years. He set up the first community mediation service in Tallaght in 1991 and supported other centres in Ballymun, Coolock/Northside, Cavan and Castlebar. He established Facing Forward, a restorative justice scheme to work with adult offenders and victims. He continues to be a political dialogue facilitator with the Glencree Centre for Peace and Reconciliation in the Wicklow hills and serves on its Board. In 2023, the Mediators Institute
honoured him with a Lifetime Achievement Award in Mediation for his contribution over the years to the development of mediation in many sectors.
