I am Helen Quigg, a warm, confident and fully accredited MII Mediator and Family Mediator, specialising in separating couples' mediation, based in Cork, Ireland.
I believe that conflict can be understood, and most of the time, resolved. My purpose as a mediator is to build a path forward for couples and families, helping them navigate even the most difficult transitions in a restorative, respectful and dignified way, particularly for the sake of their children.
I provide support for couples going through a separation, divorce or relationship breakdown who need help achieving an agreement that works for their family.
I create a safe, confidential and completely non-judgmental space where both parties feel genuinely heard, comfortable and hopeful. I bring patience, warmth and deep experience to every session and I am committed to helping you find your own solutions, at your own pace.
With a diverse background in social studies, business, employee relations, conflict resolution, and as a qualified Mental Health First Responder, I understand that separation touches every part of a person — emotionally, mentally and practically. I bring both professional expertise and genuine human understanding to my practice.
Outside of my practice, I am Chairperson of a Mediation Sharing and Learning Group, governed by the Mediators Institute of Ireland (MII) — reflecting my deep commitment to the ongoing development of mediation and bringing the very latest thinking and approaches to every session.
I understand that reaching out takes courage and when you contact me, you will speak directly with me. I will listen. I will not judge. And together, we will find a way forward.
