My primary degree is in Quantity Surveying and I am a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Member of the RICS and SCSI in Ireland. I am also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Fellow of Prime Disputes specialising in construction dispute resolution for most of my professional career after working in PQS offices and local government. I have extensive experience in representing parties from all sectors of construction industry, providing advice on contractual matters and acting as party advocate in all forms of ADR including adjudication, mediation, conciliation and arbitration.

I have successfully completed the Adjudication Conversion Course lead by the professional institutions in Ireland including CIArb, SCS, RIAI, Engineers Ireland, ACEI and Bar Council attaining the title Accredited Adjudicator (Ireland).

I am a Certified Mediator and accept appointments from parties seeking resolution in the mediation process. I am particularly effective in facilitating construction matters where loss and expense are at the centre of the dispute.

I also lecture on matters of contract law and alternative dispute resolution at Queens University Belfast and University of Ulster, Jordanstown.

I have acted as Arbitrator, receiving appointments from CIArb, Irish Branch and RICS.
