I have been mediating as a Certified Member of the MII since 2008 and Advanced Member since 2012. I provide both face-to-face and online mediation. Online mediation can work very well in many contexts and can be explored with parties as an option.

I mediate in Family (including with elderly people), Separating Couples and Workplace situations/difficulties/disputes; sometimes where there is significant interpersonal conflict and/or acrimony which has built up over time. I have facilitated/mediated in workplace cases where there are allegations of bullying and harassment, and/or where there is little or no communication between the parties when they present for mediation. 

I have worked with many (separating) couples to come to agreement in relation to assets, parenting and access arrangements and have successfully helped families to work through differences and to achieve mutually agreed outcomes. I have completed the FMS training programme in Family Mediation during which I mediated often complex cases involving separating couples.

As a HR practitioner for 20+ years, I work with companies to develop a positive work environment and relations. I have significant experience of facilitating, coaching and mediating in workplace difficulties and disputes between colleagues, between managers and employees, and within groups/teams. I have successfully facilitated many parties to reach agreement.  

I design and deliver training aimed at developing positive communication at work; I facilitate group/team work and also lecture in communication, employment law, equality and diversity, conflict and mediation. I train/lecture in mediation and assess mediators for both MII Certified and Advanced levels.
