General Profile
I am a qualified Mediator, accredited by the Mediators’ Institute of Ireland, with over thirty years of experience working in the family law and civil court systems. This background gives me a unique insight into the emotional and practical challenges faced by separating couples and others in dispute, whether in family, workplace, or community settings.
I firmly believe that mediation is, in most cases, a more constructive and cost-effective alternative to court proceedings. With a success rate of 70% to 80%, mediation empowers individuals to find mutually acceptable solutions, preserve working relationships, and avoid the stress, delay, and expense often associated with litigation.
As a Mediator, my role is to remain impartial while facilitating open, respectful dialogue. I support each person in voicing their concerns, exploring options, and making informed decisions together, especially in relation to children, the family home, finances, and future planning. Mediation offers a confidential and non-adversarial space where each individual can feel heard and take ownership of the outcome, rather than having a judge impose a decision that may not fully satisfy either side.
I have a genuine passion for helping people navigate separation and other difficult situations with empathy and integrity. I understand the emotional toll these experiences can take, and I am committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where productive conversations can take place. With a proven track record of resolving disputes and delivering results, I am here to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
