Martin is an independent mediator with in depth knowledge and experience of public and private sector organisations and disputes resolution. He is available to provide workplace, commercial and other mediation services in person, on MS Teams and other packages.

Martin has extensive experience at senior management and CEO levels in the health, agri-food and other sectors. He was CEO/Secretary General of the Irish Hospital Consultants Association (IHCA) from 2011 to 2024. Prior to that he was an official in Government Departments (Finance and Agriculture & Food) and the EU Commission in Brussels before being appointed Director of Policy in the Irish Co-operative Organisation Society (ICOS) and Managing Director of its international consultancy subsidiary.

Martin has extensive negotiation and representation skills accrued at senior management, political and specialist levels, complimented by organisation management, development and leadership experience. In addition to being a holder of a Certificate in Mediation, Martin has a Masters in Business Administration, a Masters in applied economics and a primary degree in agricultural science.
