    General Profile

I successfully completed a Diploma in Mediation & Conflict Resolution in NUI Maynooth in 2010. I have been mediating disputes since then as a volunteer with the Community Law & Mediation Service, Northside. Since 2011 I have conducted over 500 hours of mediation, involving separating couples, family disputes , workplace and community mediation.

I hold a qualification in Cinergy Conflict Management Coaching since November 2013 and attended the Cinergy Conflict Management Coaching Masterclass in July 2015. As a Cinergy Conflict Coach I have helped people gain an insight into themselves and why and how they react to others in the way that they do. I have helped them to manage that reaction and achieve more beneficial outcomes.

I successfully completed a six month Internship with the Family Mediation Service, Waterford in 2017. During my time with the Family Mediation Service I helped many couples to achieve satisfactory outcomes through constructive discussion on ways to manage their futures.

As a career civil servant, both as a staff member and manager, I have wide experience of the types of conflict which can occur in the workplace. I have been a member of the Civil & Public Service Mediators’ Network since its inception and helped dozens of staff to resolve issues of conflict and work together more productively through workplace mediation.

I am an accredited member of the MII since 2011 and attained advanced accreditation early in 2021.

I am happy to help people resolve issues via Zoom during the current Covid 19 restrictions and into the future should that be a requirement or more accessible for clients.

I am currently working with the Legal Services Regulatory Authority on a contract. I have a lead role within the LSRA to develop mediation within the organisation where mediation is embedded as a requirement in the legislation. Within the LSRA I conduct mediation and assist parties to resolve complaints of inadequate service or excessive cost through mediation.
