Paul Pierse is a practising and insured mediator certified with the Mediators' Institute of Ireland. Paul qualified as a mediator in 2011 and began mediating in the area of succession law with Succession Ireland in 2012. He brings with him his expertise as a mediator as well as his experience of diverse areas of the law as a lecturer with Griffith College, Cork.  His lecturing brief has included land and succession law; contract and employment law; the law of torts and negligence.
From Listowel in County Kerry, Paul obatined an hounours degree in Commerce and German from the National University of Ireland, Galway, before being admitted on the roll of solicitors by the Law Society of Ireland. Paul developed a keen interest in mediation as an alternative to litigation and actively promotes its use in appropriate cirrcumstances.
Paul has delivered seminars to both lawyers and mediation students on legal aspects of mediation. Paul has been published by the MII and is pending publication in the ADR Review on the contractual aspects of a mediated agreement.
