John Reilly is an accredited mediator who helps individuals, families, workplaces and communities resolve conflict through respectful, constructive dialogue. With 18 years experience at RTÉ Radio, including producing and presenting the multi-award-winning Park Bench series on RTÉ Radio 1, he brings exceptional listening skills, empathy and impartiality to every mediation.
John holds a BA in Communication Studies and an MA in Journalism from DCU. He completed Certified Mediation Training and Family (Separating Couples) Mediation with Round Table in Cork, and also Child Inclusive Mediation training with the Family Mediators Association. He provides a calm, supportive environment where all parties will feel heard, safe and better understood.
John is an accredited member of the Irish Mediators Institute and a Lead Mediator with the Irish Professional Mediators Organisation in partnership with the Donegal Parent and Family Support Service. He also volunteers with Dublin Community Mediation who offer mediation to people in conflict.
He provides workplace, community and family mediation, with a particular interest in helping separating couples reach practical agreements on parenting arrangements and the division of assets, helping them avoid the emotional and financial costs of court.
Originally from County Meath and now based in Dublin, John offers online and in-person mediation with flexible daytime, evening and weekend appointments.
