General Profile
I am a Mediator from Ennis, Co. Clare and now reside in Co. Wexford with my family. I have a passion for Mediation and for assisting people to come together and overcome their differences. I try to live with compassion and bring this to how I relate with and work with people. I have worked in a variety of roles in my life including as a Solicitor and in Human Rights.
As a young person, I became interested in Mediation when playing with my local sports club. A conflict arose between a senior player and the team Management. Understanding something had to be done, a meeting was called with the player and management to facilitate a meeting between the parties. The meeting was successful and somehow I felt the magic of Mediation on that day.
When training as a Solicitor I was exposed to dispute resolution through the justice system gaining experience in various forms of litigation and legal practice. I felt inside myself there had to be a better way for people to overcome human conflicts. With a passion for people I worked in Human Rights post qualification, and later found Mediation when living in a Community setting. It opened my heart to find a process which provided legal and contractual protection, and most importantly the healing effect to share one’s story and feelings with another in a resolution process.
Having trained as a Mediator in 2021/2022, I began mediating with people in difficulty with conflict in their lives.
I am available to Mediate with people in all forms of difficulties.
