Welcome to the website of the Mediators’ Institute of Ireland. As the professional association for mediators in Ireland, we are committed to promoting mediation as the process of choice for resolving conflicts in Ireland. Our members are drawn from all 32 counties and practice in a wide variety of different contexts. We are committed to the highest standards in training and practice.
2015 is turning out to be a significant year for mediation in Ireland, seeing legislative developments in different sectors, numerous high profile disputes being resolved through mediation and an unprecedented number of court referrals to mediation. Our flagship annual conference will take place in October this year at the culmination of Ireland’s first National Mediation Week and will see an exciting line up of contributors.
We have created this website to provide you, the public, with information on mediation and its benefits, and as a resource for our members. Myself and my fellow Council Members trust you will find it useful.
We hope that those suffering ill-effects of dispute and difference will find through the MII, this website and our membership the resolution and well-being that we believe Mediation can bring to any situation.
